It is a hardwood structure, 40 by 20 feet, the walls being 14 feet high, with an averaged-pitched hardwood shingled roof. It is pierced by five narrow windows on either side of the building, and two in front one on either side of the entrance, the door being sheltered by on outside porch The whole building rests on brick piers, well braced together; is well ventilated, an, when the painting is finished, and the fences erected, will form a pretty addition to the buildings of the neighborhood (BC 22 Jan 1870)
