| The City Congregational Church's premises in Adelaide Street was taken over by the Federal Munitions and Supply Department in January 1942. The Congregational Church took out a ten year lease of the former Wickham Terrace Presbyterian Church which was owned by the Railways Department. The Church spent £2000 on renovations. |
