Darr Creek was a grazing and dairying settlement, well off the beaten track, 52 miles from Dalby and 22 miles from Jandowae.

Arrangements were made to hold Church services on one Sunday In the month In a galvanised Iron hall' that nestles snugly among the timber in the district, and the residents readily availed themselves of the facilities provided. The average attendance at the service is 50. An Improvised pulpit was made from kerosene cases, butlast Sunday this was replaced by a table, and Mr: Lee takes a portable organ with him in his car to lead the singing. (Sunday Mail 21 Oct 1934)
