The building of a church in one day has been accomplished twice in a day's work lately, the occasions being the Reid's Creek and Humphrey Methodist churches. This method, is proving very cheap ' work for the church. On Saturday last the Hum phrey Church was accomplished. A number of the carpenters of Gayndah supplied a day's work, and assisted by the local residents the building of the Vhurch was rattled through in one day. The labour was paid for, everybody giving their labour free. The ladiies were present in large numbers, and kept the 'billy' boiling, and a good supply of refreshments handy. (MC 23 Sept 1914)
