| Land was donated by John Yore. Extensions in 1946 blessed by Duhig. Cost £600. Duhig in his address to the crowd, 'praised the people of the land and advised families to keep their children on the farm. He believed that with proper scientific farming and dairying, the Beaudesert district could support a rural population of 500 000 and produce food for millions'. |
