| The new Roman Catholic Church has been completed and will be blessed and opened by Bishop Shield at 9.30 am on Easter Sunday, when mass will also be celebrated. The building has been well constructed, and is a nice addition to our public buildings. Unfortunately, these buildings, instead of being in a central position, are scattered over the district. The State School and the English Church are adjacent to each other, the Farmers Hall is two miles further on, the new church is a mile and a half beyond the hall, while the hotel is situated midway between the school and the hall.
