| The parish of St Seraphim's was formed 20th March 1950. Services were conducted by Fr Alexey Godyaew at St Luke's Anglican Church. Nikolai Alelekov Svetlov then donated a house where the church now stands. 23rd November 1952 saw the completion of the renovation of the donated house into a church with a small cupola on the roof. The Church was originally part of the Russian Church Outside Russia which had been founded in the 1920s. This body reunited with the Moscow Patriachate in 2007. |
