The building constructed of wood and fibro-cement, and furnished at a cost of £435, was designed by Mr W Batt of Palmwoods, the workmanship displayed being a credit to the builder.

The interior Is of an imposing appearance, being neatly panelled with three-ply, while the coloured windows add artistically to the general effect. The furnishings are of a modern design, the lectern, prayer desk, and alter ornaments being presented by Mrs M. Smith, late of Hunchy in memory of her son Pte SS Smiyh who was killed in France.
