| The Glebe Road Uniting Church was officially opened on the 6th September, 1987. It was the culmination of the coming together of the Newtown Methodist Church, the Silkstone Methodist Church and St John’s Presbyterian Church, from when the Uniting Church in Australia was formed on the 22nd June, 1977 |
